Karen Elleman, Secretary General for The Nordic council of Ministers
Karen Elleman, the Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers, commended the remarkable achievements of Fiskin ® products, a brand of accessories made from real fish skin, and applauded the concerted efforts made within a relatively short span of time. Such acknowledgment serves as validation not only for individual businesses but also for the collective dedication and determination exhibited by all involved in the program. Following the formal proceedings, the event transitioned seamlessly into a dynamic business workshop, where seasoned professionals engaged in collaborative problem-solving sessions with participants. This interactive forum provided a platform for exchanging ideas, addressing challenges, and fostering innovation, thereby enriching the learning experience and further empowering participants to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship. The success of the UAccelerate program highlights its transformative impact in supporting refugee entrepreneurship and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. These initiatives not only generate economic growth but also promote social cohesion and mutual understanding. As this chapter closes, the lasting effects of empowerment and opportunity will continue to resonate, inspiring resilience and innovation within the Nordic entrepreneurial ecosystem.
